Join our dynamic team at WSAudiology in Erlangen, Germany, a leader in cutting-edge hearing aid technology. We are seeking a highly skilled System Integration Engineer to contribute to our innovative projects and make a significant impact on the development of state-of-the-art hearing aids. As a System Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness of our product commissioning process.
This postion is limited to 2 years (maternity cover).
What you will do
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design and implement automated tests for system integration testing across various development stages of hearing aids and systems.
- Drive the introduction of new platforms through continuous testing, debugging, and bug reporting for the hearing aid system.
- Enhance existing processes and introduce innovative approaches, tools, and methodologies to optimize testing procedures.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align requirements and execute requirement-based testing for system verification.
- Develop and implement stress and performance testing strategies to identify and address weaknesses in the system.
What you bring
To excel in this role, you will likely possess the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering, medical technology, or a comparable discipline
- Hands-on experience in coding with Matlab and Python, showcasing your technical capabilities.
- Experience with Git, PowerShell, and ADS is advantageous.
- Prior experience in handling FPGA boards and other electronic hardware.
- Great communication and facilitation skills for project coordination, requirement alignment with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, self-driven, combined with a structured and reliable work approach.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
