Senior BI Specialist
To deliver on our corporate purpose of making a wonderful sound part of everyone’s life, WS Audiology is looking for a new Senior BI Specialist to help us improve our Business Intelligence solutions.
It is an opportunity to join our newly-built IT Hub with the possibility to work fully remotely – it is required to visit our office in Poznan only from time to time.
In this role, you will join our international, distracted team, which is reporting to the Senior Director of BI & Analytics. You’ll be dealing also with global business stakeholders and external consultants.
What you will do
We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge using predictive and analytics solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and testing the BI and analytics user stories and solutions, and ultimately, you will enhance our business intelligence system to help us make better decisions.
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
- BI solutions application maintenance and support,
- Supervise the BI support Queue and provide solutions as per SLA
- Collaborate with business on BI topics
- Identify development needs in order to improve and streamline BI Support ex. performance improvements
- Analyze business requirements and prepare specifications for product development
What you bring
Experience:
- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar
- Hands-on Microsoft SQL Server experience
- Ability to read code and support applications, reports, and processes
Technology stack:
- Microsoft SQL Server skills including SSIS, SSAS, DW, and Power BI
- ADF, Databricks, and Azure synapse skills will be preferred
Personal competencies:
- High verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with global teams.
- Experience in a global environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, and presentation skills
