Software Development Engineer (m/w/d)

We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer (m/w/d) to design, develop, and test software tools and scripts tailored to customer needs, create user documentation, and implement change requests. You will develop and maintain test automation scripts, execute tests, and drive process improvements while mentoring team members and tracking project progress.
What you will do
- Design, develop, and test software tools and scripts based on customer needs and market feedback
- Analyze and implement change requests, including tool validation and documentation
- Develop, validate, and maintain test automation scripts
- Execute and analyze automated and manual tests, reporting results and bugs
- Promote continuous process improvements
- Mentor and support team members in architecture, design, and implementation
- Track and report project status and deliverables
What you bring
Your Experience and personal competencies
- Comprehensive Software Development Lifecycle experience, including design, implementation and testing (ideally in .Net)
- Technical lead experience with expertise in architecture, design patterns, and test automation
- Background in regulated industries (e.g., medical domain)
- Skilled in Agile development and testing processes
- Experience with Windows desktop applications, plus mobile or cloud development
- Fluent in English and German; ISTQB certification is beneficial
- Self-motivated, team player, and mentor with a structured, hands-on approach
