Join our Research & Development team as an Intern in Signal Processing / Hearing Aid Development and contribute to innovative solutions that change lives.

What you will do

You will work on exciting tasks with a high degree of independence, including:

• Developing and investigating small-scale algorithms in areas such as:
  • Adaptive algorithms
  • Noise suppression
  • Classification
  • Microphone array processing
  • Acoustic source localization
  • Feedback cancellation
  • Accelerometer integration
  • Audio coding for speech and music

• Exploring new approaches through literature reviews, implementation, and enhancement, with guidance from experienced team members.
• Analyzing and optimizing existing algorithms.
• Conducting real-time audio measurements and tests, including prototype hearing tests with participants.

What you bring

Your experience

• You are currently enrolled in a degree program in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Audiology, Medical Technology, Computer Science, Acoustics, or a related field.
• You have strong knowledge of (audio) signal processing.
• You have programming experience, particularly with MATLAB.
• You work independently, reliably, and enjoy developing and experimenting with software and hardware.
• You are proficient in both German and English.
• Please note: This position requires onsite work, not a remote setup.

In the case of a successful collaboration, there is also the opportunity to write your Bachelor's or Master's thesis with us or join us as a working student.
