Join our Research & Development team as an Intern in Signal Processing / Hearing Aid Development and contribute to innovative solutions that change lives.
What you will do
You will work on exciting tasks with a high degree of independence, including:
- Developing and investigating small-scale algorithms in areas such as:
- Adaptive algorithms
- Noise suppression
- Classification
- Microphone array processing
- Acoustic source localization
- Feedback cancellation
- Accelerometer integration
- Audio coding for speech and music
- Exploring new approaches through literature reviews, implementation, and enhancement, with guidance from experienced team members.
- Analyzing and optimizing existing algorithms.
- Conducting real-time audio measurements and tests, including prototype hearing tests with participants.
What you bring
Your experience
- You are currently enrolled in a degree program in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Audiology, Medical Technology, Computer Science, Acoustics, or a related field.
- You have strong knowledge of (audio) signal processing.
- You have programming experience, particularly with MATLAB.
- You work independently, reliably, and enjoy developing and experimenting with software and hardware.
- You are proficient in both German and English.
- Please note: This position requires onsite work, not a remote setup.
In the case of a successful collaboration, there is also the opportunity to write your Bachelor's or Master's thesis with us or join us as a working student.
