WS Audiology, driven by a passion for improving lives, is a leading force in the hearing aid industry. Our goal is to enhance our presence in an underserved market and accelerate business transformation to reach more people effectively.
Reporting to the VP of Industrial Operations and Smart Lean, the future incumbent will lead our Lynge (Copenhagen area) plant and develop a strong management team to execute an action plan aimed at enhancing performance and profitability, aligning with WSA's financial, operational, and customer service goals.
The site has 165 people split in various departments:
- SMT (Surface Mount Technology)
- Plastic part production
- Mechanical part production
- Tool shop
- Warehouse
What you will do
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing, and automation strategies
- Inspire and lead a team of production managers and technicians to achieve production goals. Drive continuous improvement, Six Sigma, Lean and automation initiatives
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain teams to streamline product development and manufacturing processes
- Investigates deviations and troubleshoots production or technology transfer issues
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, and capital investments for the production department

We seek an engaging individual with a proven history of designing and implementing a customer-focused production unit. This role demands exceptional influencing skills and the ability to gain buy-in from diverse stakeholders. We want a skilled developer of talent who can offer fresh perspectives and elevate our manufacturing capabilities in Denmark.
Experience
- 8+ years in people management, preferably in production of electronics, MedTech or industrial
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
Personal competencies
- Solid business acumen, analytical thinking, numerical skills, and attention to detail for effective problem-solving
- Strategic mindset that can adapt quickly to tactical needs; forward-thinking and collaborative
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects and meeting critical deadlines
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to building relationships internally and externally
- Effective communicator across all organizational levels, from the production floor to executive offices, with strong leadership and organizational abilities
