About the role
Come help us analyse the technology solutions and trends in the hearing aid industry to keep colleagues updated about the competitive solutions today and in the future to support your colleagues in Corporate Strategy, our Senior Management and functions such as Marketing, Sales, and R&D.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented colleague to join WS Audiology in the role as Student Assistant in Competitive Intelligence, part of the Corporate Strategy department. In this role, you will work closely with other Student Assistants and colleagues from Corporate Strategy, Marketing and R&D on various projects and initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support in researching and analysing the technologies and offerings in the hearing industry as they are today and to help identify the trends for tomorrow.
When tracking the industry, there is a lot of information, including a lot of noise. Our task in the intelligence team is to cut through the noise, find the important nuggets and communicate those clearly to the relevant stakeholders.
Additionally, you will assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and recommendations for senior management.
Working as a Student Assistant in WS Audiology
You will be part of a student assistant group working closely together with the Corporate Strategy & Competitive Intelligence team. We are a global company with colleagues and contacts all over the world. There is an active community of student assistants working in the company.
Tasks and responsibilities
Conduct research and analysis on hearing devices, market trends, the competitive environment development, and changes in the MedTech industry
Structure findings in our databases and knowledge management systems for easy future analysis by the team and other colleagues
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the MedTech industry
Help colleagues understand what happens in the industry and why it matters
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for strategic decision-making
Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and other relevant stakeholders
About you
Student enrolled in a relevant field such as Science, Signal Processing, Audiology, Business strategy, Marketing or a related discipline from Technical University, Copenhagen Business School, Copenhagen University or elsewhere
Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather, organize and interpret data effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner
A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in tools such as Sharepoint and Power BI is a plus
A genuine interest in the MedTech industry and a desire to learn and contribute to corporate strategyYou will structure your work time in close dialogue with the team. You can expect a workload of around 12-15 hours per week with flexibility around exams and vacations.
