This role is to ensure supply of materials at the Distribution Centers for customers are order on time.
Supply Planner is the baseline to ensure the availability of hearing aids and accessories in the distribution center in order to maximize the service level.
What you will do
- Negotiate with local vendors to ensure required delivery dates are met, resolve escalated issues within execution horizon.
- Provide visibility to local Customer Service, European Distribution Center management about material constraints, changes to the delivery dates of local vendors and global materials supplied by APAC plants.
- Conduct regular demand reviews with local suppliers and /or global planning team to help identify any potential supply risks in the future. Support identification of opportunities to increase agility with suppliers.
- Takes part in different projects like Inventory Optimization Initiative/Inventory Analysis of individual category.
What you bring
Experience
- Experienced in Supply Chain, preferably in materials/supply planning, sourcing / purchasing and supplier management.
- Knowledgeable of supply management / collaboration, inventory management and procurement.
- Advanced knowledge of, and experience with sourcing and supplier management activities, preferably packaging and accessories.
Personal competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration in global teams.
- A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving with an innovative mindset.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify gaps and drive improvements.
- Our corporate language is English, so you need to be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
