Student Assistant, Accessories Embedded SW Team
In the WSA Accessories team we are developing all the devices which supplement the hearing aids, like microphones, streamers, chargers, etc.
We are pioneers with great ambition, nerdy humor, and we love a good technical challenge. For this great team, we are looking for a Student Assistant to help us with tests, test automation, improving build and test setup, and learn a ton in the process. Your work as an integral part of the team. We don’t believe in specific student tasks and as such you will be side by side with your teammates, and help building meaningful, high-quality products in an environment where your opinion matters.
Our tech stack consists of C++, Python, Windows, Azure DevOps, git and a range of other tools in a mixed on-prem/cloud setup. You're not expected to know everything about the tooling, but we expect that you are eager to learn.
You can expect a workload of around 12-15 hours per week with flexibility around exams and vacations.
About you:
You have a great desire to learn more and get hands-on experience with device development.
You feel comfortable in one or more programming or scripting languages.
You probably used to or still build your own computers.
People call you "The IT Wizard" and you have accepted your fate as one.
You take pride in your work and strive to deliver with high quality.
You are likely studying a B.Sc. or M.Sc. and your passion for technology and problem solving is insatiable.
Nice-to-have benefits:
Is comfortable with Python and have written at least a couple of coding projects before.
Already have experience with software development and test.
Feels at home in a terminal.
Have experience with Azure DevOps
Knows Git well enough for GitHub project contribution.
Knows the basics of "pipelines"
Is not afraid to share opinions, but equally eager to listen to others.
