Assistant Legal Counsel

We are looking for a Assistant Legal Counsel to be part of a newly established Legal Support Center in Poland. This role will report to the Head of Group Legal, Corporate Commercial & EMEA.
You will provide high-quality operational and legal-adjacent support across the Group Legal, Compliance & Tax function, focusing on Legal, Data Privacy, and Business Ethics Compliance. You will also contribute to shaping processes and ensuring the delivery of efficient and professional support to legal and compliance colleagues globally and business stakeholders locally and regionally.
What you will do
Support to Group Legal
• Drafting and reviewing standard agreements (e.g. NDAs, consultancy agreements etc.)
• Maintaining and updating contract templates and clause libraries
• Advising on legal matters relating to WSA Poland.
Support to Data Privacy
• Acting as first line Data Breach Manager (documentation and coordination)
• Maintaining and updating privacy documentation (e.g. RoPA, DPIAs, etc.)
• Supporting the assessment of DPAs and handling data subject requests.
Support to Business Ethics Compliance
• Administration and rollout of e-learning programs (requiring technical and user-support skills)
• Designing and preparing training and communication materials (graphic design skills advantageous)
• Data gathering and analysis (reporting/statistics).
What you bring
Experience
• Bachelor of Laws, Legal Administration, or similar background (paralegal experience is also relevant)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience in legal operations, legal support, or similar functions in a corporate or shared services environment
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR) and compliance processes is an advantage
• Experience working in a multinational environment, preferably within the medical device, life sciences, or related industries.

• Technically savvy and comfortable navigating legal tech tools, LMS platforms, and productivity tools
• Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving business objectives, demonstrating resilience in overcoming challenges, and consistently delivering high-quality outcomes
• Strong collaborator who fosters partnerships and works effectively across teams to achieve shared goals and drive collective success
• Proficiency in Polish and English (written and spoken) is required; additional languages are a plus.
