Senior Manager, Signal Processing (m/f/d)

What you will do
The Senior Manager of Fitting Signal Processing is responsible for defining and executing the strategy for Audiological algorithms and capabilities that enable individualized sound processing within WSA’s digital solution space.
He/She will lead the integration and development of Fitting Signal Processing software, managing the process from conception through implementation across Platform, B2B, and B2C domains, establishing a phased Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) model and a Software Factory to effectively monitor the health and progress of software projects, drive collaboration across functions, emphasizing quality, security, and compliance to ensure that software systems are cohesive, scalable, and reliable across various device generations and product lines.
Key responsibilities:
Fitting Signal Processing Leadership: define strategy for Harmonization and enhancing Fitting Signal Processing development capabilities, ensure a scalable hardware abstracted approach and own the release for the Fitting Signal Processing deliveries into the SW ecosystem
Increase Efficiency by utilizing AI in Software Development Life Cycle
Ensure capacity, staffing, Mindset, expertise and competencies to support delivery roadmaps and ensuring enablers for efficiency gains.
CI/CD & Build Infrastructure: create/maintain a staged CI pipeline from unit tests to full system release; define automated quality gates and regression safeguards; ensure reliable build automation aligned with test organizations.
Software Factory Operations: build and run the Software Factory with processes, monitoring, dashboards, and alerts; track integration health, stability, debt, and release readiness; drive transparency and predictability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with stakeholders across teams; align architectures, timelines, and interfaces; serve as escalation point for cross-domain issues.
Quality, Security & Compliance: ensure secure-by-design practices; align with QA/system tests on global quality KPIs; drive continuous improvement and architectural stability.
What you bring
We are looking for a leader who can operate effectively in a complex, evolving environment and drive both technical excellence and organizational transformation. You are expected to bring a strong combination of domain expertise, people leadership, and the ability to improve software delivery performance across teams. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, aligning diverse stakeholders, and turning strategic ambitions into tangible results.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Signal Processing, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
5+ years in Software Signal processing, embedded engineering, or system engineering.
Proven track record leading software teams and integration organizations.
Demonstrated ability accelerating deliveries utilizing AI in SDLC
Demonstrated ability to establish CI/CD pipelines and manage complex, multi-domain build and test processes.
DevOps and quality: Expertise in CI/CD systems, build automation, integration pipelines, and software quality monitoring.
Proficiency with integration tooling, automation frameworks, and modern DevOps practices.
Deep knowledge of platform APIs, and system-level architecture.
