Team Lead, Legal & Compliance – Legal Support Center Poland (m/f)
WSA's Legal department is a pragmatic, solution-focused partner that proactively addresses challenges and supports growth. Reporting to the Head of Group Legal, Capital Markets and M&A, this role will lead the establishment and ongoing management of a newly created Legal Support Center in Poland.
What you'll do
As Team Lead, you will be responsible for building and developing a small, high-performing team delivering operational and legal-adjacent support across Group Tax, Legal and Compliance. The focus will be on Legal, Data Privacy and Business Ethics Compliance. You will combine hands-on delivery with team leadership, ensuring structured execution within established processes and continuously improving ways of working, delivering efficient and professional support to legal and compliance colleagues globally as well as business stakeholders locally and regionally.
In this role, you will help plan and align activities across multiple stakeholders and priorities, supporting the team in navigating complexity while bringing a tech-savvy approach to enhancing workflows and day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Establish and lead the Legal Support Center, including building and developing the team, defining scope and priorities, and setting a clear service delivery model aligned with Group Legal.
Drive structured and scalable operations, including workflows, processes and quality standards, and act as the key interface to Group Legal stakeholders.
Act as first line of defence for data privacy matters, including handling data breach coordination (documentation and follow-up) and supporting data subject requests.
Maintain and support privacy operations and documentation, including RoPA, DPIAs and DPA assessments to ensure consistent and compliant processes.
Support Business Ethics Compliance and risk processes, including training and communication, third-party due diligence and screening, and delivery of reporting and insights.
Provide hands-on legal support, including drafting and reviewing standard agreements, advising on legal matters relating to WSA Poland, and maintaining templates and clause libraries.
Provide corporate secretarial and legal entity management support, including maintenance of legal entities, governance documentation and coordination of statutory requirements.
Your background
Experience
Master of Laws (or equivalent) or a similar legal/compliance background, with solid understanding of data privacy (e.g. GDPR) and compliance processes
+6 years of relevant experience within legal operations, legal support, compliance or related functions, preferably in a corporate or shared services environment
Experience working in a multinational environment, with prior coordination, project or team leadership exposure; experience from regulated industries is a plus

Proficiency in Polish and English (written and spoken) is required; additional languages are a plus.
