Student Assistant - ORCA Labs

ORCA Labs is a team with competencies within audiology, engineering, psychology, and experimental study execution. Our mission is to do audiological research internally and in collaboration with universities around the world. We aim at creating tangible insights for our R&D department and to publish our results in scientific journals and at conferences. Now we are looking for a skilled student assistant with an audiology background to support the onsite research in Lynge.
The start date is as soon as possible.
What you will do:
Participant contact and scheduling: Recruit, plan and book test participants and facilities
Fit hearing aids: Measure audiograms, fit hearing aids, and counsel participants.
Conduct experiments: Independently carry out experiments with external participants.
Design and Develop Studies: Collaborate with our scientists on research studies
Analyze Data: Apply your analytical skills to structure, analyze, and interpret experimental results.
Information Dissemination: Share findings with internal teams, contributing to organizational learning.
What you bring
We’re looking for students pursuing a degree in Audiology or other relevant fields. Practical experience with measuring audiograms and fitting hearing aids is beneficial, as well as knowledge of planning, designing, and executing research projects. Applicants must be fluent in both Danish and English.
