HR Delivery Data Specialist (m/f)

The HR Delivery Data Specialist is part of the HR Projects & Processes, HR Excellence & HRIS team and plays an important role in supporting the quality, accuracy and effective use of HR data within our systems, with a strong focus on Workday HCM.
What you will do
The role combines HR data, reporting, HR systems and operational support. The HR Delivery Data Specialist will support day-to-day HR system activities, including reporting, data maintenance and mass data uploads, while helping to investigate and resolve data-related issues. The role is particularly important in ensuring that HR data is accurate, consistent and fit for purpose in a global organization.
HR Data & HR Systems
Support day-to-day HR data activities within Workday and related HR systems.
Perform data maintenance and mass data uploads in the system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Create and maintain HR reports and support HR stakeholders with their reporting needs.
Monitor data quality and identify inconsistencies, gaps or potential issues.
Investigate data-related issues, understand root causes and support their resolution.
Work with HR system data while considering the broader HR and business context.
HR Service Delivery & BAU Support
Provide operational support for HR processes and system-related activities in a Business-as-Usual environment.
Support HR Service Delivery teams with HR data and system-related requests.
Follow established processes, controls and standards to ensure data accuracy, compliance and consistency.
Help resolve queries and issues by collaborating with the relevant HR, IT and HRIS stakeholders.
Contribute to a reliable and efficient HR data and system support model following the Workday go-live.
Projects & Continuous Improvement
Support HRIS and HR transformation projects, including activities related to the ongoing development of Workday.
Participate in testing, data activities and implementation of system or process changes.
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and improve HR data processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help make HR processes more efficient and user-friendly.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with HR, HR Service Delivery, HRIS, IT and external vendors.
Build effective relationships with stakeholders across different functions and locations.
Translate business and HR requirements into practical data and system-related solutions.
Communicate clearly about data issues, requirements and possible solutions.
Escalate complex issues when appropriate while taking ownership of assigned topics.
What you bring
Experience
Around 4+ years of experience in HR data, HRIS, HR Operations, HR Service Delivery, reporting or a related area.
Experience working with HR data and HR systems; experience with Workday or another HCM system is an advantage, but Workday expertise is not required.
Experience creating reports, working with data and performing data maintenance or mass data updates.
Experience working in a structured, process-driven environment, ideally within a global organization.
Experience collaborating with HR, IT or external vendors is an advantage.
Experience supporting HRIS implementations, migrations or transformation projects is a plus.
Personal competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Comfortable working with data ambiguity and investigating information that may be incomplete, inconsistent or unclear.
Strong business acumen and ability to understand the HR and business context behind the data.
Curious and proactive approach – you do not simply process data, but want to understand why something is happening.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a changing environment.
Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team.
Continuous improvement mindset and interest in using technology and data to improve HR processes.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
