As a Mechanical Design Engineer in the Dynamic Process Engineering team, you will play a key role in maintaining, optimizing, and developing advanced hearing solutions. Acting as a technical expert, you will drive product improvements, solve complex engineering challenges, and collaborate closely with Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and global suppliers to ensure our products remain robust, scalable, and ready for the future.
What you will do
Drive design optimization and engineering changes for plastic, metal, and rubber components.
Own product maintenance activities and collaborate closely with R&D on product improvements and design modifications.
Develop and maintain CAD designs and technical documentation using systems such as Creo, Agile, and Windchill.
Act as a subject matter expert within plastics, metal components, elastomers, and manufacturing technologies.
Participate in Engineering Change Management (ECM), root cause investigations, CAPA activities, MRNs, and customer complaint handling.
Work closely with global suppliers, manufacturing sites, quality teams, and development organizations.
Support the continuous improvement of products, manufacturing processes, and design robustness.
Contribute to technical problem-solving and optimization initiatives across the product lifecycle.
What you bring
Experience
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
8+ years of experience within mechanical design, product development, or product maintenance.
Strong experience with plastic component design and injection molding processes.
Experience with CAD and PLM/PDM systems, preferably Creo, Agile, and Windchill.
Solid understanding of design optimization, product lifecycle management, and engineering change processes.
Experience working in a cross-functional and international environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Danish language skills are considered an advantage.
