The purpose of this role is to drive growth and distribution through new and existing business independent optical markets. To assist with delivery of the WSA sales strategy, business development and new business opportunities. To drive mutual business growth through a proactive and consultative approach to seeking new sales opportunities, while developing WSA as the partner of choice in the UK and Ireland.
What will you do?
- Own personal revenue targets and achieve agreed UK & ROI targets and KPIs.
- Create long-term strategy to enable accelerated growth for WSA in the UK and ROI with a major focus on growing WSA market share in the independent optical channel.
- Collaborate with new independent businesses through the road to independence initiative, project manage alongside the mentors and offer opportunities for growth using added value programs and investments.
- Collaborate closely with the Widex Brand Manager to build dedicated marketing and business support materials to support the success of hearing care within the optical channel.
- Work with the global optical focus group as the UK representative for WSA.
- Work closely with the WSA sales teams to ensure the successful day to day management of each business, and to act as the key contact for business development and conducting quarterly business reviews.
- Develop and explore alternative markets and new channels for the introduction of hearing care.
- Make use of the full WSA product and solution portfolio offering to achieve primary supplier position.
- Work closely with the UK WSA CFO to identify, propose and manage opportunities for future growth and loan investment.
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders within the required industries, to build a profile as the expert in new hearing care business development.
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations and always project the Company as a market leader and professional organisation.
- Provide a referral point for the resolution of difficult issues with customer accounts, making decisions where necessary, in line with agreed company policy.
- Work closely with WSA Sales Director, WSA Marketing Director and Customer Experience Manager in the design and implementation of sales strategies and pricing agreements.
- Provide the WSA Sales Director with relevant sales data and reports as required including sales forecasts, monthly reports, and detailed account analysis.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of CRM by Business TSM’s for proactive management of customers database.
What you bring?
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales management role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a strong customer focus
- Good organisational and administration skills with self-management ability.
- Current and detailed experience of the Optical Industry
