What you will do
Your Responsibilities
Depending on your individual role (internship, working student, or thesis), you will support us in topics such as:
- Contributing to foundational audiological research projects in sound perception, hearing aid fitting, and signal processing.
- Designing, developing, and evaluating fitting strategies and software features
- Evaluating and optimizing signal processing algorithms based on technical and perceptual data.
- Planning, coordinating, conducting, and analysing audiological user tests, field trials, and studies.
- Organising and executing competitive benchmarking studies on audiological topics.
- Supporting scientific projects, including literature reviews, study design, execution, and publications.
What you bring
Your Profile
- You are currently enrolled in a university program in Audiology, Medical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Acoustics, Psychology, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and/or German.
- Programming experience (e.g., MATLAB, Python, C or similar).
Additional beneficial skills
- Prior experience in audiology and/or acoustics, particularly psychoacoustics.
- Familiarity with working with hearing-impaired individuals and hearing aid fitting.
- Knowledge in audio signal processing.
- Experience with statistical analysis and relevant software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python)
