Student Assistant - Communications and Projects for IT Leadership

As a Student Assistant, you will be supporting the Chief Information Officer (CIO) on communication and change management activities. This role is an excellent opportunity for a student who wants to gain hands-on experience in strategic communications, digital content creation, and organizational leadership support. The role will also have a dotted reporting line to Corporate Communications.
What you will do
- Assist the CIO and the IT leadership team, supporting change management and communication activities
- Draft, edit, and publish internal and stakeholder communications (emails, newsletters, intranet posts, presentations) in alignment with strategic guidance from Operations Advisor in Corporate Communications
- Run activities to support internal change programs
- Assist in preparing materials for leadership meetings, IT flagship events e.g. Cyber Security Week, and town halls
- Help manage digital communication channels (intranet, social media, mailing lists)
- Contribute to engagement activities such as town halls, workshops, campaigns, and staff communications
- Assist with administrative tasks related to communications and information management.
What you bring
Experience
- Current student (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Communications, Media Studies, Business, IT Management, or a related field
- You have at least two years left of your studies
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel, is essential
- Corporate language is English, so fluency in English, both verbally and written, is required
- The expected working hours will be around 15-20 hours per week, with flexibility around exams and vacations.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
