What you will do
Provide hands-on technical leadership and contribute directly to system design and implementation
Drive incremental modernization across architecture, tooling, automation, and build/release workflows
Improve system maintainability through pragmatic standards, documentation, and targeted refactoring
Strengthen quality and release readiness through effective test strategies and early risk visibility
Improve engineering effectiveness by optimizing CI/CD pipelines, build stability, and developer feedback loops
Mentor engineers and foster knowledge sharing to reduce single-person dependencies and strengthen team resilience
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across R&D and production/service teams to manage dependencies and align priorities
Contribute to areas such as fitting workflows for hearing care professionals, diagnostics and service tooling, firmware and AI image update flows, and developer enablement initiatives.

Experience
Demonstrate senior engineering experience (e.g., Senior Engineer, Lead Engineer, or Technical Lead)
Maintain and evolve production systems, including balancing legacy environments with modernization efforts
Apply strong judgment when balancing system stability, maintainability, and delivery
Work with CI/CD pipelines, build and release tooling, or test automation practices
Operate in quality-focused environments where reliability and risk reduction are critical
Fluency (both written and verbal) in English, Danish is a plus.
Personal competencies
Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines
Lead through influence and technical credibility rather than hierarchy
Mentor engineers and actively support skill development and knowledge sharing
Demonstrate a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach to technical challenges
Promote sustainable engineering practices and continuous improvement
Take ownership of outcomes while maintaining focus on delivery and system quality.
