We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Product Manager to join our Digital Platform Engineering unit at WSA. In this position, you will play a crucial role in aligning, shaping and pushing execution of a product roadmap for our digital, mainly cloud-based engineering platform, driving innovation and delivering best-in-class solutions that meet the evolving needs of our SaaS product delivery organizations. What you will do
Customer Focus:
Maintain a deep understanding of customer pain points and use cases related to Digital Platform adoption
Gather customer feedback through various channels and incorporate insights into product planning and decision-making processes
Support marketing and business owners with go-to-market strategies and product launch planning.
Product Development:
Define and drive the product roadmap for our Digital Platform, aligning with the company strategy and the demand from our Software as a Service (SaaS) products
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across sites, including SaaS product delivery organizations, Digital Platform product owners and architects to define technical requirements and acceptance criteria, maintain product backlogs, and drive the development and delivery of the Digital Platform.
Optimization and Performance:
Champion agile methodologies to accelerate product development cycles and ensure continuous improvement
Monitor KPIs to track the performance and effectiveness of our Digital Platform service offer
Identify opportunities for performance optimization and cost reduction to maximize value for WSA.
Governance and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, security and privacy standards
Collaborate with quality, legal, information security teams and Digital Platform architects to align on best practices, guidelines and controls for secure and compliant Digital Platform evolution and adoption.
Roadmapping and Stakeholder Management:
Shape the backlog and roadmap for our Digital Platform, aligning with the company strategy and the demand from our Software as a Service (SaaS) products
Establish stakeholder panels to identify and prioritize business needs, including functional and non-functional success criteria (e.g., service level objectives)
Promote roadmap items, purpose and priorities to establish visibility and transparency.
What you bring
Experience
Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
Proven experience in software product management roles, ideally with a focus on cloud platforms or Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings
Thorough understanding of cloud computing principles, including service offers of public cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures
Certification in Agile Software Product Management is a plus
Proven track record of defining and leading product roadmaps for cloud platforms or similar technologies, aligning product strategy with corporate goals.
Personal competencies
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute product strategies, drive cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid, multi-cultural and multi-site setup, and deliver results in a fast-paced, agile environment
Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making, leveraging metrics and insights to drive product improvements and business outcomes
Expertise in applying agile methodologies to optimize product development cycles, coupled with experience in monitoring performance metrics and ensuring compliance with industry standards and security regulations.
