Quality Control Engineer

To support our commitment to high-quality products and robust supplier partnerships, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Quality Control Engineer to join our Business Quality team.
What you will do
As a Quality Control Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality through inspections, measurements, supplier collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role will focus on inspection-related activities, while the remaining scope will involve supplier quality, validation support, and improvement projects. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers in a regulated med-tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control & Inspection
Perform regular incoming and in-process inspections in accordance with defined specifications and inspection instructions
Conduct measurements and document inspection results accurately in relevant systems
Support release of products for production or shipment based on inspection outcomes
Follow up on non-conforming materials and support deviation handling
Supplier Quality
Participate in supplier validation activities and supplier audits
Collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met
Support monitoring of supplier performance and quality improvements
Continuous Improvement & Validation
Act as a key contributor to quality and process improvement initiatives
Support product and process validation activities
Collaborate with R&D, engineers, and Business Quality teams to resolve quality issues and improve control methods
What you bring
We imagine that you hold a university degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, or a related field) and bring a minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Control within the medical device industry.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quality Control role within a manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with measurements and inspection techniques
Experience working with suppliers
Knowledge of medical device regulations and standards, ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, (med-tech)
Understanding of product and/or supplier validation processes (preferred)
Proficiency in MS Office
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (engineering, technical, or related field)
Fluency in English is required, and Danish language skills are highly desirable.
