Data Domain Steward drives data quality, consistency, and long-term usability within a defined domain. This role establishes strong governance foundations for critical enterprise data, builds trust and transparency across the organization, and enables scalable data practices through automation and AI.
We currently have two positions open for this role.
What you will do:
Domain Data Ownership and Standards
Act as the business authority for domain data definitions, attributes, hierarchies, and semantics.
Own and approve domain content in the business glossary and metadata tools.
Drive alignment of domain standards across systems and initiatives.
Resolve definition or ownership conflicts across stakeholders.
Master Data Stewardship and Governance Oversight
Review and approve complex or high-impact master data change requests.
Ensure master data governance processes are followed consistently across the domain.
Guide remediation approaches for recurring or systemic data issues.
Collaborate with IT and governance teams to improve master data workflows over time.
Data Quality Monitoring and Issue Resolution
Monitor domain-level data quality KPIs, dashboards, and trends.
Lead root-cause analysis for complex or cross-system data quality issues.
Provide input into data quality rule definition and prioritization.
Partner with the Data Quality function to embed preventive controls in processes.
Governance Enablement and Cross‑Domain Collaboration
Actively participate in data governance forums, working groups, and councils.
Coach and support stewards or contributors within the domain.
Drive adoption of data governance practices across business teams.
Coordinate with other Domain Data Stewards to manage dependencies and overlaps.
What you bring:
Experience
Previous experience working with business data, master data, or operational data domains (e.g., Customer, Product, Organization, Finance, Supply Chain)
Practical experience with data validation, data quality improvement, or data maintenance processes.
Experience collaborating with business users, IT teams, or analytics teams on data-related topics.
Personal competencies
Knowledge of English - working proficiency
Strong attention to details and ability to work with structured information
Ability to collaborate with different stakeholders, including business and IT teams
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, especially in identifying and addressing data issues
Good communication skills, with the ability to explain data-related topics in a clear and simple way
